A crazy-looking map that always shows you where the nearest airport is

Jason Davies created the Voronoi diagrams above to show the airport that is nearest to every point on the surface of the earth. Only large airports with scheduled services are depicted here. The most remote airport in the world is Mataveri International Airport on Easter Island, in the southeastern Pacific.
